Kate Middleton is having quite the stylish week. And she’s just continued her knockout frock paradeat Lancaster House in London.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge turned out to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife at an event to mark the second day of their state visit to Britain earlier today.
And whilst Kate is normally at home in her high street favourites, today she went for a high end look with this gorgeous lacy plum-coloured Dolce & Gabbana dress.
We’re not sure we’ve ever seen the the mum-of-two working D&G before, but safe to say she shouldn’t stop.
Crafted out of luxurious Guipure lace, the knee-length beauty stopped at the knee and boasted a high neck for a sexy and slightly vampy edge.
Kate accessorised with a matching clutch and courts, and wore her hair and new bangs in soft, retro waves. Gorgeous.
Last night, Kate looked ravishing in a bespoke red Jenny Packham gown complete with a Lotus Flower tiara (née the Papyrus tiara, owned by the Queen Mother and originally used as a necklace). We mean, could she get any more princess-like?!
Considering how beautiful she looked, it’s no surprise that the Kate Effect firmly took hold once the pictures were released.
George at Asda have seen a 120% uplift in red dress sales in the last 24 hours following the Duchess’ public appearance, officially confirming the fact that she’s still Britain’s #1 style icon.
