Model, actress, designer, muse… Now Kate Bosworth can add tech entrepreneur to her already burgeoning CV. Partnering with the co-owner of the retail chain American Rag Cie, the actress is launching a fashion app called ‘Style Thief’ that lets people snap a photo, do an image search for a fashion item and buy it through a couple of clicks. Er, hello A-list wardrobe!
With the tag line ‘Snap & Steal’, the app hopes to unite people’s love of street style, as well as our addictive habits of snapping pics of everything on our phones. “Everyone has fashion envy,” Ms Bosworth told WWD. “Everyone can relate to that feeling of looking at an editorial, for example – or a friend, or the runway, for that matter – [and] wanting to steal something exactly as you’re seeing it, or something similar.”
Kate’s got her eyes on Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore and Alexa Chung’s ’drobe. What about you?
