It feels like we say this every other day, but we really do love Karlie Kloss. Supermodel, philanthropist, brainbox, purveyor of delicious snacks… it seems there’s nothing this woman can’t do. And, now she can add music video star to that list, because she’s the headline act in Chic’s brand new vid.
Yep, Nile Rogers is back with ’70s legends Chic, fresh from his now infamous collaboration with Daft Punk on Pharrell’s Get Lucky. And, they’ve got a brand new track entitled ‘I’ll Be There’, to which Karlie can be seen dancing around in a cropped jumper and, well, not a lot else. The model has a little boogie while watching Chic on her TV before she hits the dancefloor in a white Atelier Versace jumpsuit, pulling some serious shapes.
The song marks the first new release for the brand in 23 years, bringing a serious (and most welcome) hit of disco into our lives. And, the video was directed by fashion’s finest, photographers Inez and Vinoodh. Looks like we’ve found our soundtrack for the week. We’re off to get our Kloss on.
