It’s all go in the LOOK office ahead of London Fashion Week on Friday, with tickets flooding in and checklists being frantically ticked off, leaving us wondering when we’re going to have time to plan five days’ worth of outfits! Topshop
has become synonymous with LFW in recent years, thanks to their backing of new designers and amazing Unique range, which will be showing it’s 21st collection on Sunday. But this season, they’re letting you get in on the fashion-week fun too. From 18-22 September, the Oxford Circus flagship store will be hosting a series of workshops, including ‘Blogging From The Front Row’, with Style Bubble’s Susie Lau, ‘A Make-Up Masterclass’ with beauty tips taken straight from the catwalk, and ‘Topshop Unique: Evolution Of A Collection From Mood board to Catwalk’ hosted by the Topshop design team.
If you’re a David Koma devotee, don’t miss the two live Q&As between the designer and fashion supremo Melanie Rickey (check out her blog at (fashioneditoratlarge.blogspot.com) where you can post your questions in a box in store or via Topshop’s Facebook and Twitter pages. To top off that lot, an area of the store will be transformed into a creative fashion space, where you can up your fashion knowledge with a collectable bookmark featuring 10 fashion facts about each designer on the NEWGEN scheme, and watch London Fashion Week shows.
If you need any more persuasion to get down there, if you buy something in store you’ll bag one of three collectable Unique notebooks. Who needs a front-row seat? GG
