Jessica Alba has come under attack after her Honest Sunscreen left people burnt

Jessica Alba’s Honest Sunscreen Lands Her In Hot Water

Jessica Alba is extremely proud of her lifestyle business, Honest Company, and rightly so. But today, she’s come under fire for her Honest Sunscreen Lotion.

Apparently, the sun cream is not doing it’s job. It’s USP is that it’s mineral-based, and boasts a non nano zinc oxide formula. Which basically means there’s none of those dodgy chemicals in it that you’d normally find in SPF-rated products.

But the problem is, the SPF 30 product seems to be leading to people to get burnt. And by people, we mean kids in particular.

Jessica has beeb flooded with complaints from concerned parents claiming they’ve been using Honest Sunscreen liberally on their children’s skin, but it’s failing to protect them.

‘She got really burned on her arms, shoulders, legs face, pretty much everywhere. I was angry,’ mum Gretta Stabler told US chat show NBC 5 Chicago about her 6-year-old daughter after using the sun cream.

‘I bought this product from the Costco Warehouse and had a similar experience to the many disappointed parents who have reviewed here’, another cross customer wrote online.

‘My entire family got a sunburn even though we applied multiple times throughout the day. This was the first sunburn for my children which is so disappointing.’

Another commented: ‘I covered myself with this sunscreen and now I am burnt to a crisp.’

So far, Alba hasn’t reacted to the complaints, but The Honest Co. has released a statement to E! News.
