Jennifer Lawrence Makes A Brave Dress Choice For The PGAs

Jennifer Lawrence, you are one brave, brave lady.

When we saw the 24-year-old Hunger Games actress step out for the Producers Guild Awards on Saturday in this shimmering plunging Prada gown, we could only think one thing.

With its Grecian style ruching and silver embellished shoulder blocks, Jen’s dress was a sure stunner. But that swishy train and those racy thigh-high splits were surely a stiletto-catching disaster waiting to happen.

Oscars 2013, anyone?

Who could forget the infamous moment when J-Law tripped over her incredible white Dior gown as she went to collect her Best Actress award? We remember it all too well, and had our fingers crossed for Jen as she glided into the annual event.

Luckily, this time the A-lister kept her composure thanks to some serious concentration skills and some carefully placed strides. And boy, was it worth it.

Jen looked gorgeously radiant as she flashed her pins in chunky gold platform heels and showed off the back of her girly gown, giggling her way through the pap pictures.

Her sun-kissed blonde locks were pinned up into a messy chignon, while smokey eyeshadow and a touch of lip gloss finished off her ethereal evening look.

The event marked Jennifer’s first red carpet moment in a couple months, and we couldn’t be happier to have her back. Especially when she makes comments like this…

After stepping on-stage to present an award to Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lionsgate (the studio behind the Hunger Games franchise), she sarcasticly said: ‘Jonn was charged to insure that Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games incredible trilogy of books was respectfully brought to life in four films and it was a… large f**king failure!’

‘I was so afraid of signing on to these movies a few years ago because something that size can make or break a career,’ she continued. ‘I put my trust in Lionsgate and they put their trust in me and now I think we have a strong and amazing relationship that I hope lasts until my career dies at 35.’

Keep staying adorable, Jen.
