In the least surprising news of the year, Holly Willoughby looked ah-mazing on This Morning earlier today.
The 35-year-old had donned a blue pussybow blouse, which she’d paired with a white pencil skirt and classic nude courts.
She’d styled her hair into its trademark blonde waves, while she’d opted for a fresh and girlie make-up look, working pink lipstick and a subtle smoky eye. Beaut.
Want to know the best thing about Holly’s outfit? She’d told us exactly where everything was from, captioning an Instagram montage: ‘Wednesday’s look on @itvthismorning skirt by @roland_mouret and shirt by @ellielines.’
But for some reason, not everyone was particularly kind about her ensemble.
While she received plenty of positive comments from fans, other messages on her post included: ‘I’m with the “it’s a no” on the top,’ and: ‘Don’t like the top holly.’
Over on Twitter, she was compared to Joanna Lumley in 80s show Sapphire & Steel, Jim Carrey in The Mask and ABBA’s Agnetha Fältskog. Erm.
And even her co-host Rylan Clark had something to say about it, jokily referring to Holly as Joan Collins.
He even quipped that she was starring in the new Absolutely Fabulous film, referring to the fact that Dame Joan makes a cameo appearance in Jennifer Saunders’ upcoming release.
In fact, Rylan, 27, managed to trick This Morning‘s Phillip Schofield into thinking that Holly really had nabbed a role in the flick.
Phillip excitedly asked: ‘Are you really in the film?’ before Holly exlaimed: ‘No!’, looking a little on the tetchy side. Lolz.
‘It would be a great rumour to start!’ joked Phillip, although again, Holly didn’t look particularly pleased.
Eep. Well, we think you rocked the retro look, lady!
