H&M has just announced the lucky winner of their design award 2014, Eddy Anemian, a 24-year-old student at La Cambre in Brussels. As part of the prize, Eddy got to show his fabulous collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. He also won 50,000 euros and the opportunity to have some of his pieces sold in H&M stores and online.
Eddy was picked as the winner by some of the top fashion names in the industry, including designer Erdem and fashion editors at both Vogue UK and Vogue Italy.
So, when do we get to fill our wardrobes with award-winning pieces? There’s a bit of a wait, but the collection will be out in the autumn so we’ve definitely got something to look forward to.
The collection is inspired by the movie I Am Love and focuses on floral pieces with waterproof fabrics, as well as fluid shapes with a marble effect – this is definitely one to watch.
