High Street Wedding Dresses That Look Really Expensive

When it comes to your big day, you want to look better than you ever have, but not everyone can afford Kim Kardashian‘s $500,000 Givenchy gown – and you don’t have to! When it comes to wedding dresses, more and more brides are opting to wear high street dresses because they won’t break the bank and they look just as good!

Here’s the lowdown on where’s best to go.

Ted Baker

One of our fave high street stores, Ted Baker are currently killing it with their wedding dress selection. Our absolute faves have to be these two. First up, this brocade, V-neck gown is a super-flattering shape and a classic style which means your wedding pics will never date. Also on our lust list is this stunning embellished maxi. Simple, elegant and perfect for stealing the spotlight.

Check out Ted Baker’s ‘Tie The Knot’ service because as well as an amazing selection of dresses, their shoe collection is to-die-for and your grooms can be kitted out too.

It’s no surprise that occassionwear go-to Coast have been wowing with wedding dresses of late. This sleeveless lace number will have you making the ultimate entrance with it’s bejewelled belt detail. And if Arizona Muse doesn’t convince you to plump for this gorgeous cream, strapless dress then the subtle mullet hem should because it is the definition of timeless elegance!

Coast Maddison Dress, £250

Ghost stick to their failsafe silky, elegant shapes each season and with so many to choose from, they don’t make a bride’s life easy. If we absolutely had to choose between them all, this gorgeous off-the-shoulder, ivory gown and this elegant sleeveless dress would be our winners. Make sure to check out their whole selection because their designs come in loads of different colours and styles!

Monsoon’s current selection of bridal dresses will have you wondering why you ever considered going designer. With something for everyone, there’s definitely a dress in there for you. This starry bridal dress with lovely embellished detail taps into the romantic trend, while this ivory gown with cut-out back detail is also a must-try on (even for those of us not currently engaged!)

Phase Eight

This high street hotspot even has it’s own wedding boutique section with loads of amazing designs to choose from. We are totally crushing on their lovely shorter designs (who says a bride needs to wear a full-length dress?) With a Fifties silhoutte and gorgeous tulle detail, we would love to walk down the aisle in this beauty. If you’re more of a traditional bride, check out their Annabella dress which wows with it’s lace and sequin detail.
