Nabbing a spot on the Burberry catwalk is a huge deal for any model, but when you’re a 17-year-old schoolgirl, it’s unbelievably exciting. That’s just what happened to Hebe Flury, a young lady from South West London who made her modelling debut on Monday lunchtime walking for Burberry (before hurrying back in time for hockey practice.)
The stunning 17 year old was snapped up by Premier Model Management six months ago and has been described as one of their “rising stars” – and she certainly seems to be doing alright so far wouldn’t you say?
Hebe, in an interview with The Telegraph, explained how she felt before it all kicked off:
“I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous in my life, especially as I knew there were so many people watching the show,” she added, “I wasn’t really concentrating on the photographers I was more concentrated on not tripping over the skirt!”
Thankfully, there was no need to be nervous as Hebe held her cool down the catwalk, strutting her stuff in front of all the biggest names in the business, including Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn. Perhaps she will be following in their footsteps and securing herself a Burberry contract one day too.
For now though, the young model has her A Levels to concentrate on, although her trips to school will be all the more exciting now that she’s got her very own monogrammed £795 Burberry backpack. The lucky lady was gifted the brand’s new ‘It’ bag and explained in the interview:
“I love it so much. I know my mum and sister are very jealous,” – along with the rest of the world Hebe!
We expect there are very big things to come for this stunning teenager, so watch this space.
