Adidas Superstar lace-ups have long been an essential part of any trainer fans arsenal, but have recently become a must-have among the fash pack too.
From fashion editors to celebs like Rita Ora, every stylista worth their salt has invested in a pair of shell-toes. This season though, there’s a new style to know. Behold the Superstar Supercolor, created by none other than super stylish mister, Pharrell Williams.
Instead of classic white or black, the just-launched kicks come in a rainbow of colours – 50 to be precise – and are guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.
And according to Pharrell, individuality is what the Supercolors are all about. “Don’t decide your style based on my style or anyone else’s’, he says, ‘What makes us all individuals is that we can choose for ourselves. Everybody can select his or her colour, it is more diverse than ever before and more original than ever before. The Superstar is such an iconic shoe that has lasted for a long time, so I wanted to do something I hadn’t seen.”
Yep, from boyfriend jeans to leather pencil skirts and supersized culottes, there’s not a lot you won’t wear them with this season. And we’d say that’s definitely something to be happy about. Sorry.
