The ever-so-stylish Pixie Lott showed off her effortlessly fashionable look once again last night as she attended the charity Starlight’s Christmas party at No.11 Downing Street.
Pixie wore a peplum, pink and patterned suit by Orla Kiely to take in the event. She styled it with a white, cropped polo-neck, a long gold necklace and metallic strappy courts.
The stunning star has been out and about the past few days after her surprise exit from Strictly Come Dancing last weekend.
Before attending the event on Downing Street, Pixie had been promoting her new Magnitone product range at Bluewater shopping centre, where she also wore the gorgeous suit. Talk about being thrifty Pixie. In between events, she covered up in a black coat and white faux-fur stole.
Joining Pixie at the event were Geri Halliwell and Ella Eyre who were also winning in the style stakes. The spice girl donned a monochrome blouse and Ella stunned in a grey coat. The party was in aid of the charity Starlight, which grants wishes for seriously and terminally ill children and provides entertainment in hospitals and hospices around the UK.
Pixie’s choice of outfit could not have been more appropriate for the event and certainly showed off her love for a matching two-piece. She also wore the look – in the form of a green floral pencil skirt and matching jacket – on Monday night when she attended the Sunday Times Style Christmas Party with boyfriend Oliver Cheshire.
A little suit like Pixie’s provides the perfect piece to take home for Christmas. Whether for a night catching up with old pals at the pub, afternoon tea with Granny or even for the big event, it’s definitely one to pack in your suitcase. It will also work great as a workwear update come January. And of course, if you ever get invited to a party at Downing Street, you’ll have just the right thing to wear.
