The 2016 Oscars are just around the corner and if any stars are wondering what to wear, they should make a note of this list. With Google’s release of the most-pondered questions of 2015, the search engine has also announced the most talked-about dresses of the 2015 Oscars and here are the results.
1. Lupita Nyong’o
The most-searched lady was stunning Lupita who made a subtle statement in a pearly Calvin Klein gown. As a potential nominee for her role in Star Wars, she’s got quite the dress to top, however we have a feeling she just might do it.
2. J Lo
Coming a close second is all-round goddess Jennifer Lopez who went for a very princessy Elie Saab. Perfection.
3. Gwyneth Paltrow
She’s a bit of an Oscar pro is our Gwynnie and her 2015 Ralph & Russo gown proved she still knows how to steal those headlines.
4. Cate Blanchett
Keeping it super simple and chic did not stop people Googling Ms Blanchett’s Armani Prive frock, who managed to look as amazing as ever.
5. Dakota Johnson
The Fifty Shades lady made sure she had her moment in a red hot Saint Laurent frock.
6. Rosamund Pike
Losing her baby weight in the blink of an eye, Rosamund Pike made red lace look better than it ever has before with a little help from Givenchy.
7. Melanie Griffith
Not to be outdone by her daughter, Melanie Griffith’s classic Roland Mouret number had the internet going crazy too.
8. Lady Gaga
It’s no surprise that the wearer of the meat dress is up there with the most Googled gowns. For this year’s Oscars she kept it fairly subtle (for her) in a white Azzedine Alaia gown with red leather gloves.
9. Scarlett Johannson
Scarlett made the most of her Jessica Rabbit bod and new cropped ‘do in stunning green Versace and the internet loved it, obv.
10. Reese Witherspoon
Everyone’s fave blonde went for marvellous monochrome for this year’s Oscars in the always-brilliant Tom Ford.
