Frankie Bridge, where has that baby bump come from?!
The Saturdays star is six-months-pregnant, and has so far been dressing her bump in structured longline blazers and jeans, keeping it well under wraps.
But last night, the 26-year-old singer seemed positively blooming as she paraded her maternity tummy in a black and cheeta print maxi dress at the BT Industry Sport Awards at Battersea Evolution.
We’re loving the sultry plunging sweetheart neckline combined with the cheeky animal print of the skirt, while the flowing skirt was the perfect bump glider for Franks. Love!
The mum-of-one swept her signature short hair over to one side, leaving it looking super shiny and glossy, and went for a neutral makeup look with a hint of bronzer and a glossy nude lip.
Frankie went on the arm of her footballer hubby Wayne Bridge, and shared a sweet couples’ snap on Instagram beforehand captioned: ‘Posh night out with the hubby’. Aw.
In a recent interview with The Sunday People’s Love Sunday magazine, Frankie revealed that she doesn’t agree with women feeling pressure to snap back into shape after giving birth.
‘From the minute you tell people you’re pregnant, everyone’s saying what you should do,’ she said. ‘Especially in my job, people expect you to stay a size six the whole way through, then get back to normal straight away and that’s not realistic.’
‘I couldn’t care less if I put on 4 stone with this one, or nothing; you just deal with it. It’s the same with working mums and stay-at-home mums – both are equally amazing.’
Mrs Bridge also got cute about her handsome hubby, who she met in 2010, not long after she broke up with her ex, McBusted’s Dougie Poynter, after two years together. And it seems Wayne was immediately in another league.
‘He was just different,’ she said. ‘Before, there was always something about a guy that would annoy me or I wanted to change, but there was never anything like that with Wayne.’
‘I knew I was going to marry him and have his children. He’d been looking for a ring to propose with, then I fell pregnant with Parker before he got round to doing it! We always wanted to have kids close together in age, so we’re really lucky and excited to be pregnant again.’
Oh god, this is too much! Most adorable couple ever. Frankie also explained how Wayne and Parker ‘s favourite thing is to goof around and ‘play fight’.
‘Wayne’s the fun one and I’m just there to give Parker his dinner!’ she laughed. ‘It definitely brings you closer, having kids – you’ve made this human together and it adds a new element to your relationship.’
