First we had Rihanna for Dior; then came Ciara for Roberto Cavalli and now you can count Foxes in the long line of singers being snapped up by brands for campaigns right now.
The 26 year-old was already tipped as the voice of the summer – her new single Body Talk drops next month – but she’s spearheading the look of the season too thanks to her new gig as the face of H&M’s Divided Collection.
“It was so much fun shooting the H&M campaign,” she says. “The clothing has The clothing has tons of character, which means you can really play with the looks, and the best thing is it all still feels like me.”
The Grammy Award-winning songstress jetted off to LA to shoot the campaign, lensed by top photographer Paolo Kudacki and as expected, the images fail to disappoint.
The new campaign is in aid of the new H&M Loves Music collection and sees her modelling all of the easy-going pieces we’re after for summer. Think slogan tees, pretty dresses, bomber jackets, flared jeans and jazzy printed shorts you’ll want to wear as much on the city streets as you will on the beach.
Choosing Foxes to front the campaign was a no brainer according to H&M’s head of design, Pernilla Wohlfahrt. “Foxes has the perfect style for the campaign – her effortless look is inspiring,” she says. “It’s all about a mix of fun pieces that can be worn together in so many different ways.”
Thankfully we don’t have too long to wait to get our hands on the collection – it officially drops in stores and online mid-July. Let the countdown begin…
