We’re Not At All Jealous Of Florence’s Gucci Tour Wardrobe

As well as her incredible voice and amazing on stage presence, Florence Welch is well known for her unique personal style.

The lead singer of Florence and the Machine is a big fan of vintage inspired fashion and is recognized for her free-spirited look. So, who better to dress her for upcoming world tour than Gucci?

The Italian brand’s current eccentric aesthetic heavily references decades gone by making this a match made in fashion heaven. A quick look at Gucci’s AW16 collection and a number of dresses have Florence’s name all over them.

We can see Florence rocking these three in particular…

Gucci will dress Florence for the duration of her international tour that starts today and runs through to July. We’re in no way envious – promise!

Florence will have her choice of Alessandro Michele’s most recent collections for her on-stage wardrobe, and the singer gave us a sneak peek of her opening night outfit via Instagram.

She shared a pic of the two brightly coloured gowns she will wear for the opening performance in Botogo, Colombia.

This latest high fashion hook-up doesn’t come of much as a surprise considering Florence was named as a Gucci girl earlier this year. In February, Gucci announced that Florence would be their ambassador for their watches and jewellery collection.

Plus, Florence’s How Beautiful tour won’t be the first time she has worn Gucci on stage. For her 2012 Ceremonials tour she wore a few of ex Gucci creative director Frida Giannini’s creations.

And Florence is a fan of wearing Gucci on the red carpet too. For her Grammy’s performance she wore a stunning pink chiffon Gucci gown.

We can’t wait to see what amazing on stage outfits she wears tonight…
