Everyone needs a root refresh every now and then (well, unless you’re still on the ombre), and Fearne Cotton knows that all too well.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ has been rocking her dark blonde grunge locks for months now, but a brightening session was clearly in order earlier this week, and Fearne took a trip to the salon.
When she emerged, her darker roots were gone, and an all over bright, sunny hue had been applied over her biscuit coloured tresses.
We’ve since seen Fearne rocking her new icy locks with a bright blue hoodie and a camel coat and a pretty peach cover-up, backcombing her hair both times to create a gorgeous ’60s bouffant style.
But while the presenter is clearly loving her fresh new ‘do, it’s taken one member of her family a little time to get used to…
Fearne took to Twitter earlier this week to share a comment her stepson, Arthur, made after her dye job.
‘Had my hair dyed slightly blonder today,’ she wrote. ‘When I got home my step son asked if I had dyed my eyebrows darker.’ LOL.
To be fair, a lighter hair hue will always make your brows pop, so we commend Arthur for such an insightful observation.
