The latest Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign kicks off today, and the high street’s charity designs are as desirable as ever. All of the major players are on board, from Topshop and Marks & Spencer to River Island and Warehouse – and that’s only to name a handful! Now in it’s 19th year, the campaign has raised an amazing £13.5 million for Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s research, so it’s definitely worth snapping up one of these amazing pieces to push that total even higher.
If you need a spring-perfect statement necklace update, look no further than Debenhams’ tropical jewel drop number. The bright shades of blue and green will pep up everything from your off-duty white tees to holiday maxi dresses.
Warehouse has totally nailed this season’s hippy boho vibe with their FTBC offering – this pom-pom and tassel trim pink tapestry bag. Wear it with floaty white frocks or create a cool contrast by using it to accessorise a jeans, blazer and court shoe combo.
Like stylish poster girls Suki Waterhouse, Alexa Chung and newbie Binx Walton, we can’t get enough of Italian label Superga’s comfy-cool plimsolls. For Fashion Targets, they’ve been re-worked in candy pink, which ticks off the pastel trend perfectly. Try them with a tailored suit.
River Island is getting in on the charity action with another wardrobe staple – the slogan tee. In timeless grey marl, you’ll wear this one everywhere and with everything. Meanwhile, Marks & Spencer is nailing the jumpsuit trend with this tropical floral tie-front one-piece. It’s begging to be teamed with a pair of super-bright strappy heels.
For a slice of designer on the high street, you can’t beat this punchy floral shift from Julien MacDonald’s Star line at Debenhams. With clashing prints and of-the-moment khaki, it couldn’t be more on the money, and the chic shape makes it a serious work-to-weekend wardrobe power player. Finally, celeb-loved label Baukjen (Alexa is a mega-fan) has designed a dreamy blush blouse. We’ll be wearing ours with white boyfriend jeans and gladiators this spring.
Definitely a worthy reason for a shopping spree!
