The best thing about this time of year is undoubtedly the influx of exciting new trends filing into our favourite high street stores. And none excites us quite like Topshop, who has recruited the one and only Cara D to star in her third campaign for the brand.
That’s right, spring/summer 2015 seals a Toppers’ hat trick for the model, and it’s safe to say we’re pretty obsessed with the chiffon florals, Victoriana-style blouses and dreamy denim pieces that Cara can be seen rocking with aplomb. As always, the Brit brand is nailing all the key trends we spotted on the catwalks back in September. Cue plenty of ’70s influences as seen in flared trousers, high-neck dresses and platform heels, not to mention retro-style blouses and chic waistcoats.
There’s also plenty of Topshop’s inimitable, laid-back luxe- we’re talking a button-down, white denim jumpsuit, as well as slouchy khaki shirts and sporty crop tops. There’s even an LBD that Cara wore on the red carpet! The best bit? You can start shopping the first drop right now. If that isn’t something to brighten up a January morning, we don’t know what is.
And in case you’d forgotten, today is everyone’s favourite day of any week. Yep, today you can visit your local newsagent/supermarket/virtual store to buy/download your brand new, ridiculously exciting copy of Look magazine. In it, you’ll not only find full details (and many, many pics) of Cara looking pretty great in her Topshop campaign, but you’ll also find out what Kate Moss’ 8 fashion commandments are, as well as catching up on all the hottest trends for your working wardrobe.
What could be better? A just-landed, hot-off-the-rails new Topshop treat and a copy of Look? We’d say that makes for an awesome Tuesday.
