Eva Mendes Works Girly Gingham In New Post-Baby Shoot

Eva Mendes was always going to be a stunning new mum, wasn’t she?

We haven’t heard much from the 40-year-old A-lister since she gave birth to her and Ryan Gosling‘s baby girl, Esmerelda, back in September.

But even when you’re a new parent with whole lot of love for your gorgeous bundle, the show must still go on. And from these pictures, it looks like it’s back to work for Eva.

The Place Beyond The Pines star has been putting that striking face and that inherent nack for vintage styling to good use for her new New York And Company line.

Eva has designed an affordable, vintage-inspired range called The Eva Mendes Collection for the US brand, and yesterday saw her modelling her fabuously feminine pieces.

Skipping down the steps of a New York apartment in a navy and white gingham print dress and white platform pumps, Eva showed zero signs of post-baby fatigue.

In fact, Ryan’s leading lady looked even more glamorous than usual, all high-volume Hollywood waves and retro pillarbox red pout.

The stunning star was also seenpicured looking chic in a colourful butterfly-printed coat, which she layered over her flare-fit frock.

‘New York and Company came to me with the opportunity, and I’ve been a fan of theirs for years. My first reaction was nervous, I was like, “I’m not sure I have anything to offer!”‘, Eva told Good Morning America back in September.

She’s also previously told Lucky Magazine: ‘My customer is not a fan of the way tabloids cover celebrity style, “Who wore it best.” It’s disastrous for women’s self-esteem. With fashion, there is no right or wrong.’

Luckily for Eva, it’s always right. Lucky Gosling.
