Emma Stone and Blake Lively scored a style tie when it came to our favourite looks of the weekend as both starlets worked the red carpet at the New York premiere of animated film The Croods yesterday.
Emma, who voices a character in the movie about a prehistoric family who go on a road trip to an unchartered and fantastical world, channelled spring’s going-nowhere monochrome trend in a t-shirt topped Lanvin dress amped up with statement jewels. An undone up do and simple nude courts made the perfect finishing touches for her day friendly ensemble.
Blake meanwhile, was back on the red carpet to support hubby Ryan Reynolds, who also lends his voice to the movie. The leggy blonde donned a thigh-skimming maroon Marios Schwab mini dress and white Bottega Veneta heels – the A-lister’s obsession with the once-naff Essex girl staple is still going strong!
While both ladies may have looked very sleek and sophisticated for a kids film premiere, it didn’t stop Emma larking about on the red carpet with co-star Ryan and a giant furry sloth! The Croods hits cinemas on March 22, and we’re not ashamed to say we’ll be booking our tickets well in advance! GG
