As is usually the case when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge step out in public, the Internet has been experiencing a minor meltdown during the first few days of the Royal Tour of India. Surprisingly, this is not related to the colour of William’s chinos or indeed any other part of his wardrobe. No, in an unprecedented turn of events, all everybody cares about is what the Duchess is wearing.

So far, we’ve seen Kate looking resplendent in an array of designer gowns, including a McQueen paisley design, a cobalt floor-sweeper by Jenny Packham and an ivory midi from Emilia Wickstead. As always, K-Middy is flying the flag for British designers, choosing her usual faves to pack for her trip. But wait- what’s this we spy? The Duchess wearing high street, and we’re not talking about Reiss or L.K.Bennett.

On another day packed with official engagements, Kate opted for a printed, long sleeved maxi dress with lace-up detail. As we tried to employ our fiercest expertise to guess which fashion house was responsible for such a lovely summer frock, we suddenly realised that this was, in fact, the handiwork of one of our own fave shopping haunts.

That’s right, Kate’s maxi is from Glamorous. And costs a mere £50. You might also be interested to know that the Duchess’ crossover flats are also a high street find; they’re from Russell and Bromley and cost £175.

So, if you’re a super fan of the Duchess, you can recreate her entire look on the high street. The dream, huh? For those of you with eagle eyes, you might spot the fact that Kate has belted her Glamorous buy with a navy waist belt but you could wear yours without, or if you’re keen to create a more fitted silhouette, wrap a length of ribbon around the middle.

UPDATE: As you might have guessed, this dress has now sold out. Glamorous reported the dress was gone in less than two hours! Blimey. And the dress nearly caused their website nearly crashed. The online retailer saw an increase in traffic to their site by 438%, and at the shopping peak there were over 1000 people per minute vieweing the product page displaying Kate’s frock. The shopping power of the Duchess, eh? Don’t fear if you didn’t manage to bag yourself this bargain buy yesterday afternoon, more stock of the dress lands on site on the 12th May.

Since we spotted Kate in her Glamorous dress the Duchess has worn high street yet again.

For a visit to a National Park Kate embraced safari chic with a pared-back combo of khaki jeans and a silky shirt. Her jeans of choice? From our high street fave, Zara.

Both Kate’s khaki skinnies and beige loafers were high street purchases.

Later in the afternoon Kate made a costume change, swapping her skinnies for a pastel pink Topshop smock dress. Yep, you heard us right.
