Now, we love a classic pair of Converse as much as the next fashion fan, but when we heard about Schuh’s new Converse customising service, we couldn’t wait to get crafty and put our own style spin on the iconic trainers.
As part of REPRESENT, Converse’s summer music series inviting fans and artists to represent their music at London’s legendary 100 Club, Schuh’s Oxford Street store is giving you the chance to represent yourself by customising a pair of freshly bought Cons until August 15th.
There’s a studs and laces bar – think edgy metal details in a mix of shapes and sizes and a rainbow range of laces – plus a printing machine to emblazon your Chucks with one of over 200 designs. LOOK’s fashion news team took a trip to the store yesterday, and believe us, deciding what to go for is one tough decision. In the end, we opted for studs, studs and more studs. (Oh, and classic white hi-tops, if you’re interested).
Prices range from £5 to £25, so don’t miss out on your chance to create your very own custom-made Converse. Cue widespread trainer envy! GG
