As if we didn’t love Dakota Johnson enough, she’s just gone and proved her fashion credentials in a big way. Again.
After starring in the Box Office smash hit film 50 Shades Of Grey (heard of it, by any chance?) she’s been spotted at a series of red carpet events – including some of the hottest fash bashes around.
Making her fashion week debut on the FROWs of Boss by Hugo Boss and Dior, as well as starring on her very first Vogue cover, the American-born actress is cementing herself as a major fashion icon.
This week she was amongst those to be invited aboard the Karl Lagerfeld cruise ship for the Chanel party in New York. And last night, she attended the Chanel Paris-Salzburg Metiers d’Art Collection In New York City.
Rocking a gorgeous dress in muted gold tones, the starlet took a leaf out of Keira Knightley’s book with the cinched in waist silhouette. In a twist on the classic tweed two piece, her dress came with a matching suit-style jacket.
Chanel suites you, missy.
Beyonce was also amongst the celebrity guests, opting for a much more off-duty look. Showing off her incredible pins, the Drunk In Love singer wore a 60s-style micro mini skirt – in a popping metallic maroon hue – which she teamed with a sports luxe jumper and a patterned bomber jacket.
Her famous locks were left loose and tumbling, with gorgeous beachy waves. Hot stuff.
Alexa Chung, who also showed her love for Chanel, wore a traditional grey tweed trouser suit. The Longchamp model opted for an out-of-character look, adding a black lace body suit, just visible underneath her more reserved blazer.
To top of the glitz and glam of the evening, Cara Delevingne took to the stage with Pharrell to perform. What an unexpected twist!
Only at Chanel…
