Unless you have been living under a rock somewhere (or don’t have Instagram), you can’t have failed to notice a certain blogger who goes by the name of The Blonde Salad. Chiara Ferragni is much more than just a mere blogger though (she has model, designer and street style star on her CV), and has a mind blowing Instagram following of 4.6 million.
Fashion brands can’t get enough of Chiara and the Italian star has worked with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Guess. And up next for Chiara is a collab with denim experts, LEVI. Speaking about her love for the brand via her blog Chiara said:
“(It’s) such an iconic brand that totally means denim to me.
is the perfect definition of what’s effortlessly cool to me. My favorite shorts, those I have customized myself with old 501s of my teenage years and denim jackets are my travel companions to every journey.”
In the campaign – shot by Renowned Italian fashion photographer, Giovanni Gastel – Chiara models six new jean styles from LEVI’s latest 700 series. The collection which dropped in stores yesterday includes styles for all shapes from bootcut to super skinny.
The collection couldn’t come at a better time with the trend for denim not going anywhere soon. Whilst technically never out of fashion denim is bigger than ever this season with everything from jumpsuits to boots in the classic fabric spotted on the AW15 catwalks.
Here the blogging superstar talks us through the six styles…
710 – SUPER SKINNY
“A stretch fit that underlines your B-side; the finish is so Cali! I wear them with a maxi cardigan and a shirt to be effortlessly cool!”
711 – SKINNY
“An iconic jean to be mixed up with other icons, a passe- partout; with a vintage twist paired with a denim shirt and the batwing tee. The best thing is that they are all interchangeable”
712 – SLIM
“To be worn with a printed shirt and a leather jacket, a modern and urban reinterpretation of the cowboy style.”
714 – STRAIGHT
“Perfect for a total-denim look, with some fringes added that makes it so hippie. At my feet: sandals or wedges”
715 – BOOTCUT
“A bon-ton coat, a pastel blouse and a wide brimmed hat: here you have the perfect match for this jean, super feminine and vintage. It makes you feel like a retro diva.”
721-HIGH RISE SKINNY
“If I have to think about my “first time” with jeans – this is the fit that comes to my mind, with the waist a little bit higher. Matched with a simple white tee, with a 70s print and a pair of boots, you have my new LA uniform”
