Cheryl Fernandez-Versini seriously divided opinion with her X Factor outfit over the weekend when she stepped out for the first set of 2014 live shows.
The former Girls Aloud star turned to one of her favourite designers, Zuhair Murad, for her Sunday night showstopper as she took to the stage for the tense results show alongside fellow judges Mel B, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
Cheryl wore a plunging lace jumpsuit from the Murad’s Spring/Summer 2014 Ready To Wear collection, featuring an embroidered bodice with mesh panels and sleek trousers which perfectly showcased her slender figure.
But it wasn’t for everyone. The judge’s last-season jumpsuit caused quite a stir online, with several users tweeting: ‘Is Cheryl wearing her nightie?’ Oops.
While Cheryl’s racy red all-in-one may have missed the mark for some, there was no denying that Mrs FV’s hair and make-up looked typically flawless.
Cheryl’s high-volume swept back ponytail and vampy red pout gave her look a seriously regal vibe and added a polished air of sophistication to her designer ensemble.
Fellow judge Mel B, meanwhile, rocked the same black Versus + Anthony Vaccarello asymmetric maxi dress we saw on Abbey Clancy at last week’s Pride Of Britain awards.
