Cheryl Fernandez-Versini may have looked like a total knockout in her neon Matthew Williamson frock on Sunday’s X Factor show. But can you guess how much her jewellery was worth!?
Sashaying out onto the stage in a long sleeve lace lime green mini dress with butterfly detail and pretty scalloped hem, Cheryl totally stole the show in her form-fitting frock which she teamed with strappy gold glittered sandals by Saint Laurent.
But while her party-ready gown may have been worth a cool £1,295, it was her mega bling jewels that really had our purses flinching.
The former Girls Aloud star went all out with her accessories that night, totting up more than £1 million worth of jewellery from jeweller to the stars, Vashi Dominguez. Woah.
Cheryl’s huge 35-carat rare Burmese yellow sapphire and diamond ring glistened under the studio lights as she gave the audience her weekly salute, and priced at a whopping £843,000, it even came with its own bodyguard.
But it didn’t stop there. Mrs FV teamed her finger ice with a pair of 15-carat canary yellow diamond drop earrings, worth £200,000. Crikey.
Flashy bling aside, we don’t really blame Cheryl for going all out in the glamour (and £££) department on Sunday. Because she had very good reason to celebrate.
Guess who only went and broke UK chart history that day?! Yep, well done our Chezza.
After new single I Don’t Care officially topped the charts on Sunday morning, the Geordie beauty become the first British female solo artist to have five number one singles in the UK.
Flashing her special plaque received in honour of her chart achievement on Instagram (while still rocking her X Factor frock), Cheryl wrote:
‘Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me!!! Today we made history. I can’t tell you how grateful and lucky I feel to all of you…’
