It was an emotional X Factor weekend for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, as she lost her first act of this series, Alien Uncovered. But at least the first weekend of live shows gave us a peek at the singer’s epic wardrobe once again…
The 32-year-old stole the show once again in two show-stopping outfits, with nude, champagne and silver hues dominating both nights.
On Saturday, Cheryl stepped out in a gorgeous Stephanie Rolland silver sequin mini dress, which she teamed with silver platform heels, statement drop earrings and a sleek ballerina bun. FIERCE.
For the results night, the judge flaunted her figure in nude Jitrois skirt and crop top co-ord and Alexander McQueen sandals, this time letting her hair fall in loose waves around her shoulders.
We were also totally feeling that cool ’90s make-up – Cheryl should rock a brown lip more often!
But whilst she looked incredible, the weekend didn’t come without its dramas. As well as losing her first act on Sunday, the I Don’t Care singer fell out with fellow judge Simon Cowell on the Xtra Factor.
The pair clashed whilst Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom were grilling them about both losing an act after Sunday’s live show, but pesky Simon continued to talk over Cheryl as she answered.
‘Are you saying something?’ she eventually interjected, to which Simon cattily replied: ‘Are we not allowed to talk?’
He added: ‘I lost someone as well tonight, you weren’t the only one.’ Eesh! Put those claws away, Cowell.
The star was also body-shamed on Instagram again, with comments such as ‘painfully thin’ and ‘When will women learn stick thin doesn’t look good nor healthy’ cropping up under a picture of her wearing her her Stephanie Rolland mini dress.
Come on people, time to stop with the hate.
Cheryl’s BFF Kimberley Walsh also gave a revealing interview to S Magazine over the weekend, explaining why she would hate to have Cheryl’s life.
‘She handles it so well, but it’s definitely challenging’, the 33-year-old said. ‘She sees all the things I can do and she’s like, “How do you manage it?” I get the best of both worlds because I’m still doing what I love without the pressure that she has.
‘Kimberley continued: ‘I can still go to the shops and all those normal things. I’m toeing a good line.’
We wonder what Cheryl will think of those comments?
