Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Just Launched A Chocolate Bar

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has just rolled two of our big loves into one – our love for our Chezza, and our love for chocolate.

The X Factor judge has partnered up with Greggs to launch a new limited edition chocolate treat, called the Belgian Chocolate Crunch bar. And it’s out TODAY! She’s got great taste in fashion, so we can only imagine her taste in confectionary is just as dreamy.

The chocolate bar will only be on sale for a special eight-week period as of today, so make sure you get to sample one before they go!

If you were wondering why, it’s in order to raise money for the star’s charity, Cheryl’s Trust, with 5p donated from every purchase. Thanks for giving us a worthy excuse to eat more chocolate, guys.

‘It’s great to have Greggs on board supporting The Trust and helping to give back to the North East, it really is a project that is close to my heart’, Cheryl said of the hook-up.

‘It was lots of fun developing a special treat with Greggs, it was important for me to have something that I enjoy and I’m sure everyone else will love the Greggs Belgian Chocolate Crunch Bar too!’

And she’s been raving about it on Twitter, too. When asked if she tucked into one of the chocolate bars whilst posing for her promo shot, the former Girls Aloud star replied: ‘Yes. And @KimberleyJWalsh helped me decide as well…’ What are friends for?!

The singer also took the opportunity to show off the pretty packaging, which featured a pink sleeve dotted with rose motifs (that look uncannily similar to that cheeky bottom tattoo of Cheryl’s)… We’d buy one.

The money raised will help Cheryl’s Trust to support disadvantaged young people in the North East of England by being donated to a youth charity centre in Newcastle that helps get people who have faced drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness or mental health problems get their lives back on track.

Commercial Director for Greggs, Malcolm Copland, said: ‘We’re delighted to be involved with Cheryl’s Trust and helping to support young people – it’s a great cause to be part of.
