Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Gets A Special Pair Of Shoes

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini suffered a rather painful injury ahead of The X Factor auditions yesterday.

The 32-year-old judge couldn’t walk on set after burning her foot in a rather, er, awkward accident.

Chezza told the audience: ‘I stood on a hair tong this morning and I burnt the bottom of my foot,’ before calling the incident ’embarrassing’.

As expected, Simon Cowell didn’t let the ordeal go down quietly.

He quipped that her story ‘wasn’t really true’ before thanking her for turning up, saying: ‘When a lot of people would have been in hospital. It really means a lot.’

> Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was in quite a bit of pain yesterday

Simon also joked that the crowd should keep the information secret because: ‘Cheryl may only have one leg by the time we hit the live show.’

We hope Cheryl’s burn recovers quickly – she’s now the proud owner of a very special pair of shoes and we’re sure she’s pretty eager to wear them.

Earlier today, she shared an Instagram snap of a pair of pink Sophia Websters with the words ‘Wifey For Lifey’ scribbled on the bottom. The heels are made of clear hearts.

> Er. How amazing are these shoes?!

A present from husband Jean-Bernard, perhaps?! Nawww.

Cheryl continued her stylish X Factor fashion parade yesterday when she opted for a slinky white Adam Lippes blazer dress for the London auditions.

She went for a slightly more covered up look in comparison to her crop top and trousers combo from Manchester’s auditions, choosing a double-breasted tuxedo dress boasting large statement buttons and red strappy heels.

The former Girls Aloud star completed her chic outfit with a slicked-down centre parting ponytail, dewy, tanned skin, dark eyes and a glossy nude pout. Gorgeous.

Cheryl arrived alongside fellow judges Rita Ora, Simon Cowell and Nick Grimshaw, with Caroline Flack, Rochelle Humes and Olly Murs also making their red carpet appearance.

> Caroline Flack looked cute in shorts and a navy shirt, whilst Olly went dapper in a white rollneck and jacket

Rita went old school on us with a pair of denim tree-trunk jeans and a matching crop top, finishing off with an Ariana Grande-style half-up ponytail do and her signature red lip. ’90s fashion, Ora-style.

Xtra Factor judge Rochelle also looked cool in a pair of black dungarees and a grey crop top, and oh look, another pony! Nice co-ordination, ladies.

> We’re loving this cute dungarees look, Rochelle!

But while the judges were all smiles on the red carpet (yes Simon, we see you winding up Cheryl as per), things got a little awkward once inside the auditiorium…

> Simon played the fool on the red carpet at the London X Factor auditions

Apparently, Grimmy accidentally called Mrs F-Z ‘Cheryl Cole’ instead of by her married name whilst asking her opinion about one of the contestants. And Cheryl was less than impressed.

According to The Sun, the 32-year-old snapped: ‘It’s Cheryl or Chezza!’ Eek!

> Cheryl shared a snap from the backstage antics at X Factor HQ…

Rita, who was sat between them, reacted by saying: ‘I’m backing away,’ while Simon added: ‘Awkward, awkward!’ Rule number one: Always remember your fellow judges names, Grimmy.

But it seems Cheryl didn’t stay angry for long, taking to Instagram after the auditions to share a series of funny backstage snaps.

> Cheryl Fernandez-Versini makes a new friend out of Rita’s cute pooch Cher

In one, Caroline is seen bending Grimmy’s legs behind his head (payback?) whilst Olly lies in hysterics on the floor, whilst another shows Cowell holding two tiny tangerines up to his pecs. Questionable behaviour…

Cheryl also made a new friend on set – Rita’s doggy Cher – and cosied up for a super sweet snap with her new pal’s pet pooch.

‘Lil Cher big Cher @ritaora ‘s baby @itscherthebear photography @kyledevolle’, she wrote.

> Um, Simon? What exactly is going on here?
