Rita Ora and Jamie Winstone made sure they (quite literally) stayed one step ahead of the fash pack at Glastonbury this weekend. Shunning the staple Hunter wellies and cuban heeled ankle boots that usually adorn the feet of festival-goers, the duo rocked a new set-to-be-cult boot by Terry De Havilland.
The iconic shoe designer, famous for his glam-rock wedges and retro platforms, has gone grunge with his latest creation, the ‘Festival’ boot. Part biker, part creeper and totally up Rita and Jamie’s street, the statement boots make for a cool festival update that you’ll wear outside of the field too. As well as Rita’s snakeskin and Jamie’s crystal styles, there’s classic leopard print and neon embellished verions on offer. We heard TV starlet Gemma Cairney packed a pair in her Glasto rucksack too – wonder which one’s she went for?
With prices starting at £195, they’re definitely at the splurge end of the spectrum, but as these two show, they look just as good with cut off’s as they do with chic skirts. Plus, Terry De Havilland’s uber A-list fan base includes Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, so you’ll be in good shoe company.
All hail the new festival wardrobe superhero.
