Caroline Flack Brushes Off *That* X Factor Criticism

Well. Caroline Flack has well and truly proven she’s no longer a shorts-only girl.

The X Factor presenter, 35, stepped out at the Music Industry Trust Awards in London last night looking super-sexy in a black tuxedo dress.

Keeping things simple, she’d paired the thigh-skimming mini with a pair of two-tone courts and a tousled down ‘do.

She was working her signature smoky eyes, as well as nude lippy and a sweep of bronzer. Oh, and we have to give a shout out to those perfectly-groomed brows.

Caroline was joined by her co-host Olly Murs at the event, who was just as dapper in a quirky navy and black shirt.

Props for pulling off that leather detailing, Olly.

Before heading out, Cazza had shared a smokin’ Instagram snap of her outfit. The photo saw her pull a smouldering pose while taking a mirror selfie.

She clearly impressed fans with the shot, with one writing: ‘Flawless as always,’ and another complimenting: ‘U r so bloody gorgeous x.’

But unfortunately for Caroline, the comments weren’t quite so positive after Sunday’s X Factor results show.

Both she and Olly, 31, received some pretty harsh criticism for their presenting style, being called ‘cringeworthy’ and ‘awkward’ on Twitter.

At one point, the hashtag #BringBackDermot – in reference to a return from previous host Dermot O’Leary – appeared on the site. EEK.

Messages included: ‘I love Olly but he can’t present and Caroline is awful,’ ‘Double elimination in X Factor… Can we get rid of Olly & Caroline,’ and ‘Caroline & Olly are crap on X factor bring back Dermot.’

Oh, guys 🙁

Caroline chose to ignore the Tweets, later telling fans on her own page: ‘Thanks for all your lovely tweets from the weekend! I am having a blast presenting the show! XX.’
