Bring it on...
At the grand old age of 24, Cara Delevingne is getting her very own documentary. Propelled to fame in 2011 when she was scouted by Burberry’s Christopher Bailey for his SS11 campaign, the last five year’s have been jam packed for Cara and documentary makers will be sure to have plenty of material.
Titled The Cara Project, we know very little about the upcoming doc except it is set to chart the star’s transition from model to actress.
The program, which has been acquired by Revolver Entertainment, will be available on DVD in the coming months. In the meantime here’s what we’re hoping for…
Cameos from her squad
Whether she’s partying with Rihanna, having sleepovers with Taylor Swift or hanging out in her hometown with fellow Londoners Suki Waterhouse and Georgia Jagger, Cara’s phone book reads like an A-Z of Hollywood. We’ve got everything crossed some of Cara’s famous pals we’ll make an appearance, maybe we’ll even get to see what it’s really like on a night out with Cara?
Candid moments of her famous family
Thanks to Instagram we know that Cara is famously close with older sisters Poppy and Chloe and we’re dying to see what it’s really like at home with the Delevingnes. Is it a blue steel style face off or just one long onesie party? Does Joan Collins (Cara’s godmother) pop round for tea?
The real reason she left modelling
After three years of back-to-back fashion shows and campaigns for everyone from Mulberry to Marc Jacobs, Cara hung up her heels in 2015 when she left model agency, Storm – oh to have been a fly on the wall in that conversation. Cara penned an open letter for TIME last year explaining why modelling no longer made her happy, but we’d love to hear from Cara more on why she chose to leave such a successful career when she was at her peak.
What’s going on with Saint Vincent
The couple only recently went there separate ways back in September, and the question on everyone’s lips is: will they be getting back together?
Is she planning a music career?
Now she’s clearly nailing the acting with parts in box office hits such as Suicide Squad and Paper Towns, we wonder if music is next for Cara? It’s not secret she is a talented singer and drummer. Cara the pop star? Yes please.
