Cara Delevingne has taken to her new role as a Hollywood actress almost as well as she did a supermodel. From her slick red carpet makeover to her hilarious appearances on American chat shows, Cara is proving that she is more than cut out for this job. Last week, she made headlines by beatboxing in Balmain on The Tonight show and this week, it was time for her to entertain the crowds on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
Discussing some of her more dangerous fashion shoots, Cara explained the dangers of working alongside a bear, especially if it happens to be your time of the month…
“I couldn’t wear deodorant. If I was on my period I wouldn’t be allowed because they can smell blood. You can’t bleed, generally.”
Speaking about a shoot she undertook for Vogue where she had to pose with a real life, enormous bear, Cara laughed about how careful you have to be with these animals. When Seth asked about her iD cover – where she posed with a tarantula – Cara explained that they don’t have much of a problem with periods and that they are “very understanding.”
The supermodel turned actress also discussed her role in upcoming superhero thriller Suicide Squad, where she stars alongside the likes of Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. Having officially left the world of modelling after departing her agency, Storm Model Management last month and missing her first Chanel show in years, it seems like Cara’s journey from model to actress is over – and she’s taken to her new role like a fish to water. We can’t wait to see what comes next.
