Just when you thought all the excitement of Breaking Bad was over, think again. No, not that kind of excitement- unfortunately the show really did end- but instead, Walter White Jr. (a.k.a RJ Mitte) has appeared on the Vivienne Westwood runway at Milan’s men’s fashion week. Yes, really!
In case you didn’t know, the young actor is also a successful model in his spare time, having starred in campaigns for the likes of Gap. And, it seems he’s really having his own fashion moment, as he was spotted sitting FROW-side at Fendi and Emporio Armani, too. It’s a far cry from Albuquerque…
The collection itself was based around the romantic city of Venice, which Vivienne Westwood, and her partner, Andreas Kronthaler, used to highlight the issue of climate change once more. There were typically flamboyant pieces, including a very brief pair of, well, briefs, and vibrant prints to boot. But RJ was arguably wearing one of the most striking designs, in paint splattered separates with a graphic image of a woman’s breasts hung round his neck.
All eyes were most certainly on the 23 year-old and his attention-grabbing outfit. Like his character on Breaking Bad, RJ famously suffers from mild cerebal palsy and has used his high profile to raise awareness of the condition. He is even a celebrity ambassador for United Cerebal Palsy.
Is this the start of RJ’s catwalk career? We certainly hope so.
