Blake Lively certainly knows how to rock a statement gown.
The actress, 27, looked incredible in a red Monique Lhuillier floor-sweeper at the New York premiere of her film The Age Of Adaline last night. The glamorous creation featured a structured lace bodice and an eye-catching feathered train.
Blake let her dress do all the talking, accessorising with just a pair of knotted Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs and a quirky Judith Leiber koi fish clutch.
Her blonde locks were styled into her trademark voluminous side-swept curls and her face was glowing, having been made up with peach blusher, shimmery bronze eyeshadow and a slick of coral lipstick.
Blake’s ability to stun was all the more impressive considering she gave birth to her first child just four months ago.
She and her husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their daughter James in December. But you’d never guess looking at Blake’s super-flat tum.
Despite being a proud new mama, Blake and Ryan, 38, have kept fairly quiet when it comes to the newest addition to their family. In fact, they only confirmed her name last month.
‘It’s James,’ said Ryan on US television. ‘Everyone knows.’
It seems as though Ryan was on babysitting duties last night as Blake arrived at the premiere with her mum Elaine and her brother Eric. On the red carpet, she happily posed for photos with her co-star Michiel Huisman.
In the movie – which tells the story of a young woman who remains ageless after an accident – Dutch actor Michiel, 33, plays Blake’s love interest.
But Ryan WAS keeping tabs on his wife via Twitter.
When Lionsgate Movies captioned a photo of Blake and Michiel: ‘@BlakeLively and @Michiel_Huisman are the perfect pair! True love never looked so good. #AdalinePremiere,’ Ryan jokily replied: ‘Uh… I can HEAR you. @AgeOfAdaline #AgeOfAdaline #ladyinred.’
Watch out, Michiel!
