The A-list bride chose Atelier Versace as her designer of choice, and walked the aisle at the beautiful Chateau Miraval in a surprisingly simple white satin design, featuring simple spaghetti straps, ’90s-style ruching at the bust and a full, flowing skirt.
‘Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,’ the 39-year-old bride told the publication. ‘He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.’
Angelina kept her hair and make-up understared and elegant for her big day, wearing her long brunette locks up in a chic bun into which the veil was secured, while Brad looked typically dapper in a simple black suit he pulled from his wardrobe and a borrowed tie from one of their sons after he forgot to pack his own.
And when Brad and Ange said they wanted the day to be a family affair, they weren’t lying – Angelina took the bold but very cute decision to let her kids decorate her designer gown and veil, both of which had colourful kids’ sketches hand-sewn onto the material. Aw!
For one of Hollywood’s starriest couples, this has to be one of the most adorable, family-focused wedding we’ve ever heard of. Bravo, you two.
