Alexa Chung has been a stylish pioneer of British faux fur cult brand of the moment, Shrimps, from the start. And she’s now pretty much ditched her entire accessories collection to wear the label non-stop instead.
Shrimps’ super luxe striped sleeve coats have already been championed by the likes of Alexa, Poppy Delevingne and pretty much the entire fashion blogging world.
But while a coat will set you back just under £500, the clutch bags are much more within our price range. And it looks like Alexa is officially obsessed with hers.
We first spied the TV presenter rocking London based designer Hannah Weiland’s fun and furry Daisy clutch at London Fashion Week earlier this year – not once, but twice in a row.
And now she’s whipped it out again for the 11th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award, where she teamed her red and pink arm candy with a navy silk Stella McCartney Spring 2015 dress and pointed black pumps.
Designed in Shrimps’ signature daisy shape, this soft baby-pink clutch will work for day or evening and can take an LBD (or LND, in Alexa’s case) from safe to seriously statement in a flash.
But if the £185 price tag leaves you wincing, check out Topshop’s purse-friendly alternative for just £28.
Get ready for your strokeability factor to go up a few hundred notches…
