Adele just won Best British Female Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards 2016. But it was her speech that everyone was talking about…
The singer turned up to the O2 arena looking gorgeous in a dark red floor-length dress that featured ruffles and a plunging neckline. WHAT a cleavage.
Adele wore her short bob parted to the side, and topped off with a particularly glamorous dark red lip to match her frock. Gorgeous.
The star, who was nominated for four awards on the night, scooped the first gong of the ceremony – British Female Solo Artist – which was presented to her by One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.
Upon accepting her award, Adele thanked the people who had helped her along the way, as well as her management for letting her ’embrace the fact that I am a woman’.
But she also dedicated her gong to another special person.
‘I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha’, Adele said to end her acceptance speech, which received a flurry of applause.
This week, Kesha was ordered to stay in her Sony contract after the pop star claimed to have suffered sexual abuse at the hands of manager Dr. Luke.
