A simple graphic t-shirt can go a long way. Worn dressed up or dressed down it's the piece in your wardrobe that you won't regret buying. The only problem you'll have is deciding how many to get.
A t-shirt is likely to be the most undervalued item in your wardrobe. It’s probably fair to say that there rarely comes a time where you’d ‘um and ah’ over the purchase of a new tee. They are usually inexpensive and therefore easy to justify purchasing. But, in the last few seasons the t-shirt (and in particular the graphic t-shirt) has come into it’s own a little bit. No longer just a basic to throw under your jumper, but now a key piece when building your outfit.
The graphic tee might not instantly scream ‘night out’ or ‘dinner date’ to you but what’s great is that it can be worn for either, as well as netflix and popcorn days of course! The tee is a go to piece for looking gorgeous but at the same time ticking that ‘ i just thew this on’ look, #lifegoals.
Keep it simple and wear your graphic tee with a pair of shorts and trainers for the ultimate off-duty outfit.
What to do when stuck with the conundrum of how to balance out your disco ball pencil skirt? Simply wear it with trainers and your old band t-shirt, that’s how!
There’s no reason not to wear your favourite t-shirt out for date night. It looks just as good with ripped denim as it does with a full skirt and heels.
If all else fails, stick to what you know and wear your t-shirt with jeans, oversized sunnies and a messy top knot.
