Wet Hair- The Ultimate How-To Video

Wet look hair is a beauty trend that always pops up for summer. It’s the perfect beach-hairstyle, wear it to the pool, down to the beach and straight out at night to a bar, and you’ll not only be bang on-trend, but you’ll look ultra sexy too. We love the mini face lift slicked backed sides gives, and the speed of the trend. Honestly, no hair-do that’s wet will take you longer than 15 minutes. Now that’s a fact!

> Side partings and little quiffs were given a gloss-over

To say it’s a massive trend for Spring Summer 2015 is definitely an understatement, it was all over the catwalk. At Zac Posen and Lucas Nascimento hairstylists created a deep-side parting and mini quiffs, then covered it in a thick wet look gel.

> Slick back quiffs at the Antonio Berardi SS15 show

At Antonio Berardi there was just a slight nod to the wet look trend with front sections being slicked back with a few layers of hairspray, while the rest of the hair was left fluffy and loose.

> Crowns were all gelled back at Alexander Wang

Over at Alexander Wang ponytails were giving wet look crowns with a serious amount of gel and a wide set comb. A simple but strong beauty look we love.

But it was the hair at Acne that we though was most wearable. The super straight, sleek hair, with a backcombed crown looks amazing on any hair length too. So, luckily, we’ve teamed up with Sebastian to bring you a really easy how-to video, created just so you can create the look at home. It’ll only take a few minutes to watch, then once you’ve nailed the logistics and got the styling tricks down, you’ll be ready to create the look in no time.
