We all know how it feels to have just endured a long, hard day at work. And the effects it can have on your skin can be really quite obvious. So, we’ve put together a few tips to de-stress after a difficult day.
First things first, light some candles and pour a bath. Everyone needs a good 30 minutes to themselves and a bath is the perfect excuse. We love the Sanctuary Spa Winter Bark and Sage Scented Candle as it makes you completely relaxed just by smelling it. Add some Aromatherapy De-Stress Bath Oil for a clear mind, with a dash of Bio-Oil to help smooth your skin.
Also, try and immerse yourself in a good, easy-to-read book. There’s nothing better than getting so into a book you forget about everything else around you, we love all of the Sophie Kinsella books, they’re perfect for a light-hearted, hilarious girly read. Try and follow this routine tleast 3 nights a week so get yourself away from the stresses of daily life, and we promise you will lead a much happier life!!
Before you indulge in your long relaxing bath (with the door locked obviously) cleanse your face with Eve Lom Cleansing Balm, tone with Organic Pharmacy Herbal Toner and finally moisturise with Organic Pharmacy Manuka Honey Moisturiser. When moisturing, concentrate on putting a little extra pressure on your temples, this releases any stress on your mind.
Afterwards, moisturise all over with Neom Organics Body Lotion. The combination of lavender and jasmine automatically clears out your mind and attracts positive thoughts. Breathe the scent in and out while massaging the lotion in with quite a strong pressure. This will loosen any tension that has been caused throughout the day.
To end your de-stressing routine, spray your pillow with This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and be sure to invest in an eye mask to help give you a good nights sleep. We love the Natural Lavender Scented Aromatherapy Relax Eye Mask.
