This makes perfect sense, it is emotionally cleansing to make a positive and self-induced change to yourself in some sort of way, especially when you’re going through a tough time.

Saying “Bye Felicia” to your old look is somewhat symbolic to ending one chapter of your life and starting another.

Life is all about loving yourself and feeling positive in your own skin, so when you find yourself with a little bit more me-time than usual after a breakup, why the hell wouldn’t you treat yourself to a new ‘do or a cheeky little (who are we kidding, BIG) makeup haul?!

You deserve to feel a million bucks and if you happy to get over Mr Wrong in the process, well that’s just a big bonus.
