An Exclusive Look Backstage At Sibling’s AW16 Show

This year’s AW16 London Fashion Week shows were all about wine coloured lips and textured hair and no one showed the killer duo off better than at Sibling’s show.

We got an exclusive sneak-peak backstage to see how the catwalk look was created plus Global Hair Ambasador for Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe, Mark Hampton, gave us the low down on exactly what products he used, so you can get your hands on them pronto and recreate the look at home.

Mark was in charge of bringing these cool girls turned bad hair-styles to life. Hampton used a combination of the Toni&Guy Style Spray Wax £7.49, Extreme Hold Hairspray £7.49 and Volume Plumping Mousse £6.99 plus not forgetting hundreds of bobby pins that we all know he’ll never see again…

The thought process behind the funky updo was as though “…she’s twisted her hair into a neat spiral cone and included a couple of ringlets to look like the wire of her headphones”, says Mark. “Her rebellious attitude has taken her on a wild night out and she’s woken with an undone version of the look which she much prefers”. This cheeky dark side was reflected also with deep berry lip using MAC’s Retro Matte Lipstick in High Drama £21, which together with the quriky hair created a fun grungy look.

Happy backstage snooping people!
