2016 TV BAFTA Awards: The Best Beauty Looks

This year’s TV Bafta’s came on a gorgeous day. The sun was shining, the celebs looked radiant and we couldn’t keep our eyes off some of the makeup on the red carpet.

As a result, our brains are still full to the brim with summer makeup inspo!

So here are a few of our favourite celeb looks straight from the red carpet, and handy product recommendations to help you steal the style.

Alesha Dixon

Alesha Dixon was * literally * the embodiment of makeup goals last night. Her smouldering, bronze smoky eyes paired with delicate, glossy lips were the perfect soft glam combination, and one we’ll definitely be recreating at upcoming shindigs (hello wedding season).

Use Too Faced’s Honey Chocolate Melted Liquid Lipstick, £19 for instant nude lips with a subtle glossy finish, and if you’re a fan of bronze hues on the eyes, Collection’s Eyes Uncovered Palette in Nude, £3.99 is a must have for your makeup kit. It’ll create a gorgeous look similar to Alesha’s without breaking the bank.

Amanda Holden

Love Amanda’s lip colour? Twig by MAC, £15.50 is a perfect match!

Amanda may have been channelling Disney princess vibes, but her makeup still stood out as she embraced the all-matte trend. Clever matte highlighters are now making all-matte looks easier than ever to achieve too – we love Benefit’s Shy Beam, £19.50 for highlights minus the shine.

Amanda teamed her matte complexion and pink matte lips with bold, well-defined brows, which framed her face perfectly. Using powder products in your brows instead of a pencil or gel will create naturally full and fluffy looking brows, just like Amanda’s. We recommend the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo, £17 to nail that power brow.

Michelle Keegan

Michelle and Mark looking absolutely adorable together!

Michelle’s look (from head-to-toe!) was one of our favourites of the night. Her dress was stunning, her hair was phenomenal and her makeup was beautiful too. Did you spot those flirty lashes? You can get the same eyelash effect with Huda Beauty’s Samantha lashes, £15.50 which are perfect for summer nights.

Michelle also showed off how to slay a contour with her perfectly sculpted cheekbones. Our favourite budget contour kit at the moment is Barry M’s Chisel Cheeks Kit, £6.49 which has everything you need to effortlessly emphasise that brilliant bone structure.

Fearne Cotton

‘No makeup’ makeup is a must this time of year. It’s the best way to showcase your natural beauty, plus it takes next to no effort, which is always a bonus! At the TV Baftas Fearne Cotton perfected the fresh-faced look with her dewy skin and rose tinted cheeks.

To recreate it yourself, pair Nars All Day Luminous Foundation, £32 with Max Factor’s Crème Puff Blush in Alluring Rose, £8.99 and you’re good to go with minimal effort!
