Scent To Swoon Over
My love for Jo Malone continues with the latest Herb Garden collection that features five botanically-inspired scents that you can wear individually or layered to create your own custom-blend perfume. My fave has got to be the Lavender & Coriander Cologne, £44 for 30ml. It lingers from morning till night with just one spritz.
My Cheek Obsession
I’ve fallen head over heels for Givenchy’s gorgeous cheekbone enhancer. It’s almost too pretty to touch, but trust me – it gives a gorge healthy glow that’s perfect for my pale skin. I almost looked airbrushed!
I’m not normally one for too many gizmos, but Darphin’s L’Institut Facial Sonic Cleansing and Massaging Expert, £125, changes that. I use the brush head for 30 seconds on each side of my face with a gel cleanser every evening to help to boost circulation. I then use the steel head to massage in my night cream. My skin feels cleaner and is noticeably more plumped, plus my make-up stays put the next day.
Face Mask Maximiser
Just like essences were introduced to boost the efficacy of your serum, Origins Maskimizer Skin Optimizing Mask Primer, £18.50, is the latest launch to give your face mask a helping hand. so how does it work? just close your eyes and spray your face with the lightweight mist and the super-hydrating formula will help soften skin and open pores in prep for your mask. I found it helped take off my messy mud mask and my skin definitely felt softer and smoother than using the mask alone.
The Multi-Tasking Mascara
I like a lot of volume when it comes to my lashes! That’s why L’Oréal’s False Lash Sculpt Mascara, £9.99, is my new go-to. It has a one-sided bristle brush that curves to hug every lash – so you only need a few coats for tonnes of mascara. The micro bristles and tapered tip mean that you can even line your upper waterline, by pressing the wand into the roots of your lashes.
