When it comes to cult beauty products, Nars Orgasm Blush is right up there with the Urban Decay Naked Palette and MAC’s famous Strobe Cream.
So it’ll come as no surprise that nearly twenty years after the cheeky blush first launched, it’s still a best-seller the world over.
Yep, it seems we just can’t enough of that universally flattering peachy-pink!
While the shade has been turned into everything from a super shimmer powder (Super Orgasm) to a Multi Stick, lipgloss and nail polish over the years, it’s now time for something very special indeed.
What’s the best way to really celebrate the iconic blush?
A repackaged, supersized version of course!
That’s right, Nars is about to, quite literally, give you your biggest Orgasm ever.
To celebrate the very many things that are brilliant about the flirty shade (more on that in a moment) a supersized Orgasm Blush compact will be hitting the shelves from June.
While the shade, formula and finish will be the same as always, the packaging has been given a limited edition makeover featuring the cute hashtag #WhatMakesYouBlush.
So why is the whole world (including Kim Kardashian) crazy about Nars Orgasm?
We’ll let its creator, makeup legend Francios Nars, answer that one…
Why are you celebrating Nars Orgasm now?
We launched Orgasm in 1999, and I never expected it to be so successful. Blush is one of my favourite products and now seemed like the right time to celebrate Orgasm. It gives women who haven’t yet experienced it, a great reason to try it.
What do you think makes Orgasm so iconic?
I would have to say the versatility of the colour, the sheerness of the texture, and the name! I want to give products a character and an identity. I want people to remember the names and you can’t forget this one.
What’s so special about the pink-peach hybrid shade?
Orgasm is special because it suits all skin tones. The pink colour and subtle shimmer gives you a natural flush. It’s flattering for so many women.
The limited edition super sized Nars Orgasm Blush, £28, hits beauty counters in June.
Get yours while you can!
