Made In Chelsea‘s Lucy Watson has had us glued to our TV screens for weeks with her will they/won’t they relationship with Spencer Matthews. But when we aren’t obsessing over her relationship drama, we’re admiring her gorgeous long locks! So we caught up with the lovely Lucy at the Adee Phelan Salon in Covent Garden, London, to find out how she gets her hair looking its best…
LOOK: So it’s almost summer, are you jetting off on holiday anytime soon?
Lucy: I’m hopefully going to Greece next week – it’s one of my favourite places to go on holiday. The combination of the weather, food and crystal-clear sea is perfect for a bit of relaxation.
LOOK: Sounds good! So when in Greece, what will be your go-to holiday hairstyle?
Lucy: I love my hair to be natural and wavy, like when you come out of the sea and your hair dries in the sun… That way it looks effortlessly sexy.
LOOK: Are there any products you swear by that will be coming on holiday with you?
Lucy: I always take John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum, £6.29, because my hair can get so dry in the sun, and a moisture boost keeps it looking healthy.
LOOK: Your hair is so long and thick – is it all yours or do you wear extensions?
Lucy: Yeah, I like to enhance my own hair with Beauty Works New Micro Ring Hair Extensions, from £75. They’re great for adding more length and volume. My hair is fine, so the extensions give it an extra boost, plus they’re safe for my hair and really easy to manage.
LOOK: We’re all for extensions! What do you think of Frankie Sandford’s new longer hair extensions?
Lucy: I think she really suits longer hair. She’s so lucky that she can pull off both short and long styles, not everyone can!
LOOK: What’s your favourite hair trend for summer?
Lucy: I love wearing a big messy bun. It’s such an easy style to achieve and perfect for showing off a post-holiday tan with highlighted cheeks.
LOOK: Which of your fellow Made In Chelsea cast members do you think has the best hair?
Lucy: Binky, for sure! She wears extensions, too, and I love how they make her hair look so bouncy and full.
