Lucy Watson Hits Back At ‘Weight-Shaming’

It seems that Lucy Watson has been receiving some unfair comments about her body.

The Made In Chelsea star appeared to have had enough of what she described as ‘weight shaming’, as she took to Twitter to hit back at negative digs surrounding body image.

Always one to tell it like it us, she spoke directly to her 868,000 followers, saying, ‘The weight shaming thing is really starting to p*** me off now.’

Lucy then wanted to reassure her fans, ‘I’m healthy and happy. That’s all you need to know.’

And we’re glad to hear it, lady.

Her followers rushed to her defense, with replies including: ‘there will always be someone that complains about others. Ignore. You look bloody fantastic!’ and ‘well said Lucy, health and happiness is all that matters’ [sic].

Lucy’s MIC co-star Louise Thompson has also been forced to address comments about her body recently.

After posting a series of bikini shots whilst enjoying a holiday in St Barts with her boyfriend Alik Alfus, the 26-year-old was accused of ‘sucking in her stomach’.

Louise was keen to let everyone know that her hard work was all natural, hitting back: ‘For those who thought I was sucking in, it’s called exercise and I gained abs from working out intensely for a week.’

We think it’s time to stop ALL body-shaming, don’t you agree?
