Lily James stole the show once again at the Cinderella premiere last night.
The Disney princess rocked sleek hair tucked behind her ears, and let her make-up do the talking. She wore brushed up brows, with a power smoky eye and a pink tinted pout.
Here’s what you need to cheat her fairytale finish…
Get your skin gleaming by buffing Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation, £36.50, over your complexion. For any dark circles or pesky spots use a concealer like NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, £22, for extra coverage. For cheeks add a touch of warmth with a pinky blush like Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Alluring Rose £8.99.
If, like most of us, your brow aren’t quite as full and thick as Lily’s then fake a thicker finish instead. Start by brushing brows up with a spoolie, then use a pencil like Soap & Glory’s Archery Brow Pencil, £8, to draw in extra hairs where needed. Keep a light hand so brows look uber-natural. Finish by brushing Benefit’s Gimme Brow, £17.50, through your arches to keep them in place and give a final flawless tint.
Smoky Eyes Made Easy:
To recreate Lily’s super smoke, prep lids with a primer or a touch of concealer, then use Bourjois Quad Smoky Stories Eyeshadow Palette in Grey and Night, £7.99. Concentrate the silver shades towards the inner corners of eyes and then shade the darker greys into the crease to add definition. Take a little of the silver sparkle along the lower lid to brighten up eyes. Then add a lick of liquid liner along your upper lashline and finally finish by layering up coats of Maybelline’s Great Lash Mascara, £3.99, for serious volume.
Fake Flushed Lips:
Give lips a wash of colour with Pixi’s Shea Butter Lip Balm in Pixi Pink, £8, it keeps lips smooth, chap-free and baby soft. For an extra brightness boost, colour your pout with a lip liner first, then add a coat of balm to lock in the shade.
